世界遺産アンコールワットで有名なカンボジア中部シエムレアプで１７日、
タクシー運転手の男性が首をナイフで切られて殺害される事件があり、
現地警察は２０代の日本人の男２人を強盗を目的とした殺人容疑で逮捕した。

逮捕されたのは中茎竜二容疑者（２３）と、石田礼門容疑者（２３）。
現地報道によると２人は１６日、タイ国境にあるカンボジア西部ポイペトから入国し、１７日にタクシーに乗車。
車内で運転手の男性の首を切った後、シエムレアプの国道で男性を路上に落として３００メートルほど走ったところで逮捕された。
現地警察に「金が欲しかった」と話しているという。
