外国人の患者を受け入れた全国の病院のうち、
診療費の未払いが２割近くの病院で起きていたことが厚生労働省の調査。
厚生労働省は去年、外国人の患者の受け入れ状況について、全国すべての病院を対象に初めての実態調査を行いました。
それによりますと、去年10月の１か月間に外国人の患者を受け入れた病院は、調査に回答した病院の49％に当たる1965か所でした。
このうち、外国人の患者による診療費の未払いが起きていた病院は、19％に当たる372か所に上りました。
病院１か所当たりの未払いの件数は平均8.5件、金額は平均42.3万円で、中には100万円を超えた病院もあったということです。

日本の医療保険は、残念がら日本の国籍を持つ者のみ
