小野田内閣府特命担当大臣（クールジャパン戦略担当）は、令和8年1月26日（月）、尾﨑官房副長官とともにコンテンツ産業官民協議会（第1回）に出席しました。コンテンツ分野は、日本成長戦略本部において掲げられた17の戦略分野に位置づけられており、海外市場規模が半導体産業の輸出額を上回る等、日本の基幹産業の1つです。
小野田大臣は、2033年までに海外市場規模を20兆円とする目標を着実に達成すべく、
日本発コンテンツの海外流通機能の強化、
世界水準のコンテンツを生み出すための研究開発や設備投資の在り方、
分野毎の人材需要の把握、中核的専門人材をはじめとする具体的な人材育成目標の設定、
政府サイドにおける、複数年度にわたる取組をはじめ、より効果的な事業執行等につながるような支援のあり方、
過去作品のアーカイブの推進や、海賊版対策は当然として日本のコンテンツの知的財産を真に価値がある形でいかに守っていくか、という観点と活用して売上に繋げていく観点の両者を盛り込みながら、各分野におけるボトルネックや、解決に必要となる投資等について委員の皆様に議論していただきたい旨を述べました。

That being said, Japan, the United States, and South Korea are working closely together to analyze the details of yesterday’s launch. However, taking into consideration all the information obtained so far, we estimate that the missile launched was a short-range ballistic missile.
The government is always committed to crisis management, and in response to this recent launch, the Prime Minister promptly issued necessary instructions to devote all efforts to information gathering and analysis, and we believe we were able to respond appropriately by quickly convening an emergency response team and holding discussions. The Takaichi Administration will continue to take all possible measures to ensure crisis management.
North Korea’s nuclear and missile development, including the recent ballistic missile launch, threatens the peace and security of Japan and the international community, and is completely unacceptable. We also recognize that such ballistic missile launches violate relevant UN Security Council resolutions and pose a serious issue concerning the safety of our people.
The government will continue to devote all its efforts to gathering and analyzing necessary information, as well as conducting vigilance and surveillance, and will work with the international community, including the United States and South Korea, to fully implementing the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and calling for North Korea’s complete abandonment of its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
