日本の研究者やジャーナリストら計７０人が処分撤回を求める声明を連名で大学側に送った。

大学側から「問題の調査」を理由に、授業や研究活動など「一切の職務」を禁じられた。

ネット上に公開した論文で、習指導部が憲法改正で国家主席の任期制限を撤廃したことを批判した。
習氏を崇拝するような風潮についても「やめなければならない」と指摘、１９８９年の天安門事件の再評価も求めた。

Chinese reformist scholars who objected to the leadership of the country receive suspension from their Tsinghua University
A total of 70 Japanese researchers and journalists sent a statement calling for cancellation of disposal to the university under a joint name.

Universities were barred from doing “all duties” such as classes and research activities because of “investigation of problems”.

A dissertation published in the internet criticized that the training leadership abolished the limitation of the presidency of the president in a constitutional amendment.
He also pointed out that he must “stop” the custom of worshiping Mr. Chang, and asked for a re-evaluation of the 1989 Tiananmen case.
