１月２１日午後４時すぎ、下校中の３人は、下関市長府宮崎町の道路に幼い男の子が１人でいるのを見かけた。
交通量が多い国道９号との交差点で、横断歩道の信号は赤。それなのに男の子は国道を渡ろうと駆けだした。
男の子を引き留め、空君が抱きかかえて歩道へ戻った。
男の子の保護者が見当たらなかったので、近くの交番に連れて行った。
その１０分ほど前、同じ交番に男の子の母親が「散歩中にいなくなった」と届け出て、警察官と一緒に捜し回っていた。
「警察の人から電話があって、男の子が無事にお母さんと会えたと聞いた。うれしかった」と３人は話す。
日本は、まだ生きています。
その気持が感謝状に添えられました。

After 4 p.m. on January 21, three people under the school saw a young boy in the road of Shimonoseki Miyazaki Town in Shimonoseki city.
At the intersection with National Highway No. 9 with heavy traffic, the signal of the pedestrian crossing is red. Even so, the boy ran away trying to cross the national highway.
I detained the boy, Empty hand hugged and returned to the sidewalk.
I did not see a guardian of the boy, so I took him to a nearby police box.
About ten minutes before that, I reported that the boy ‘s mother to the same police station “I have not been walking” and I was searching for it with a police officer.
“I heard that there was a phone call from a police person and I heard that the boy safely met his mother, it was a pleasure,” they said.
Japan is still alive.
The feeling was affixed to the letter of appreciation.
